Need help with wellness?
Frequently asked questions
Health Club is here to guide your wellness journey, offering expert care and support for your mind and body.
Do I need therapy?
Many people seek therapy during times of stress, anxiety, grief, relationship challenges, life transitions, or when they simply want additional support. You do not need to be in crisis to benefit from therapy. Therapy can provide a safe space to explore your thoughts, emotions, and goals while developing healthy coping strategies and building resilience.
What can I expect during my first therapy session?
Your first session is an opportunity for you and your therapist to get to know one another. You'll discuss what brought you to therapy, your current concerns, relevant personal history, and your goals for treatment. Together, you will begin creating a plan that supports your needs and desired outcomes.
How do I know which therapist is right for me?
Our team works to match clients with the therapist who best fits their needs, concerns, and preferences. If you're unsure where to start, we can help guide you through the process and connect you with the therapist who may be the best fit for your situation.
Do you offer plans for beginners?
Yes. We offer secure telehealth services for clients throughout Delaware. Telehealth allows you to access therapy from the comfort and privacy of your own home while maintaining the same level of professional care and support.
Do you offer in-person appointments?
Yes. We offer in-person therapy sessions at our Milford, Delaware office, as well as telehealth services for clients throughout the state.
What concerns do you help clients address?
Our therapists work with individuals experiencing a variety of concerns, including anxiety, depression, trauma, stress, relationship challenges, family concerns, grief and loss, life transitions, and emotional wellness needs. Services are available for children, teens, and adults.
How long does therapy take?
The length of therapy varies from person to person. Some clients benefit from short-term support focused on a specific challenge, while others choose ongoing therapy to address deeper concerns or continue personal growth. Your therapist will work with you to determine a treatment plan that meets your needs.
Do you work with children and teens?
Yes. Our therapists provide support for children and adolescents experiencing emotional, behavioral, social, academic, and family-related challenges. We work collaboratively with families to help young clients build healthy coping skills and confidence.
Is therapy confidential?
Yes. Therapy is confidential, and your privacy is important to us. There are a few legal and ethical exceptions to confidentiality that your therapist will review with you during the informed consent process.
What if I have never been to therapy before?
Many of our clients are new to therapy. It's normal to feel nervous or uncertain about getting started. Our therapists strive to create a welcoming, supportive environment where you can feel comfortable moving at your own pace.
